Five places to feed hangry monsters (both big and small) at Pacific Fair

Five places to feed hangry monsters (both big and small) at Pacific Fair

If you’re venturing to the shops these school holidays with little ones in tow, there’s no need to settle for the regular fast-food options, Pacific Fair offers a wide range of family-friendly dining. So when the kids are tuckered out and need refuelling, or, let’s be honest, when you just need to sit down for a while, here are five places that the kids (and you) will love.

Snag Stand
While it may look naughty with all its cheesy, American goodness, Snag Stand uses lean, low fat meats and handcrafted artisanal gluten-free sausages so it’s not quite as wicked as you may think. It also happens to be ridiculously tasty and the majority of hotdogs will give you change from a $10. Bonus!

Greek Street Grill
If you need to feed a small army, Greek Street Grill is your place. The serves err on the side of massive, the Pita Club Sandwich, for example, is a towering stack of chicken, cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato with a hefty serve of chips and is more than enough for two adults. There are also some pretty epic platters that are perfect for little hands to dive right in.

La Rotisserie
Got a hankering for fried chicken? Look no further than La Rotisserie at The Patio. Their ‘Not so Sinful’ rotisserie chicken is dipped in delicious buttermilk, rolled in New Orleans-inspired spices and flash-fried until golden. The baguettes and pulled-meat bowls are also mighty tempting if you’re keen to keep the fried food to a minimum.

TWE-SushiNatto-01

Sushi Natto
Turn a regular lunch into an interactive lesson in culinary appreciation at Sushi Natto. Not only do you get to enjoy deliciously fresh sushi but the kids will love it because they can pick their own plates from the train and attempt to learn the art of chopsticks. That’s win win in our book!

Ben & Jerry’s
Because no meal is complete without a little something sweet (or in this case, a lot of something sweet), a trip to Ben & Jerry’s is always a welcome treat. With a truly mouth-watering array of flavours on offer, the hardest part will be deciding what to order.
