Embark on a mission of discovery as you delve into the history of tequila, its production process and tips for tasting at Stingray Lounge Bar in Surfers Paradise. The venue’s new 1,2,3 Tequila package will give you a newfound appreciation for the Mexican swill and invite you to enjoy some fine aged tequilas including Herradura Plata, Reposado and Anejo. Barman and tequila aficionado, Jordan Melling, will lead the evening’s class and impart his knowledge when it comes to differentiating good tequilas from average varieties and which ones are best for mixing cocktails, sipping after dinner and the ones to savour (yes, that’s a thing). To start, always look for tequilas that are made from 100% agave.
1,2,3 Tequila is run in a private section of Stingray Lounge and the package includes accommodation at QT and a hefty serve of Stingray’s classic corn chips and homemade guacamole to munch on.
