On Friday December 11, the legendary Hard Rock Café, is helping kids in need, by hosting a charity event to get toys to over 300 kids on the Gold Coast alone. This is a small number, compared to the larger numbers out there in Queensland. On this night, we aim to make a small difference and give kids in unfortunate circumstance a Christmas from the community. We will be hosting a toy drive with a live music component on the night. For only a $10 donation or a new toy, you not only get to enjoy a great night of music, but also make a difference to those in need.

Entertainment on the night will come from talented Gold Coast singer/songwriter, Brett Hammond, who will perform an acoustic set of originals and covers. Brett is the former lead singer of legendary Gold Coast band Misdirection, who played nationally, supporting international and national talents like Dead Letter Circus, Shihad, Helmet and The Screaming Jets, as well as playing on the Big Day Out Festival. Brett’s distinctive voice is one that will captivate and move audiences, wherever he performs, with a passion and conviction that is incomparable. The event kicks off from 9:00 pm. Entry is a $10 donation or an unwrapped new toy donation.
