The local music scene on the Gold Coast is thriving, with talented musicians popping up everyday. As abundant as good music is, it can be hard to separate yourself from the pack when just beginning a music career. Southport Sharks has started Platform, a unique event that aims to help up-and-coming musicians get some live music experience and earn some new fans. On July 24, several local muso’s will take the stage and perform for the Southport Sharks crowd. Musicians on the bill include Gabrielle Lambe, Scott Dalton, Dirty Frank, Mighty Psylis and Free the Genie. The event is free, so why not take in a night of great music and support the local scene.
