Melanoma March Coolangatta


National fundraiser, Melanoma March, will again hit the streets of the Gold Coast starting from The Strand at Coolangatta on Sunday March 20 as part of the annual campaign raise funds and awareness for a cure for melanoma.

An initiative of the Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA), Melanoma March is now in its fifth year, and has raised over $1.6-million for melanoma research and education programs. Participants are encouraged to walk, march, stroll or even run the 4km course. After the walk, all participants are welcomed back to The Strand for post-event refreshments and family-friendly entertainment.

For the first time in 2016, Natalie Quirk will be the dedicated host of the 2016 Melanoma March Coolangatta. Natalie has been personally impacted by melanoma in and is hoping to raise funds and awareness to help change the outcome and quality of life of people living with this disease. The Melanoma March is suitable for all ages, and children under five years are free. Interested participants can now register online and begin to raise funds with the sponsorship of family and friends. To register to walk, or to sponsor someone who is walking, visit the Melanoma March website. 

Event registration opens 6:30 am. Walk start commences at 7:30 am.
