Hosted by Lucerne farmers Jenny and Russell Jenner, the Kalbar Sunflower Festival is back and bigger than ever. This time around, flower-loving folks can expect to see a whopping one million (yes, you did read that right – One. Million.) sunflowers. These golden beauties will once again soon be in bloom and they are a picture-perfect canvas for the area’s third annual sunflower festival.

The festival has a huge program of fun-filled events, and perhaps the most exciting addition is a four-acre sunflower maze for you to enjoy and get lost in! Like previous years, visitors can wander through the sunflower field (and yes, get that cheeky Insta pic), get crafty with art classes and test their culinary skills with cooking classes. For an experience that is truly unforgettable, you can even take a helicopter ride high over the fields! Food trucks will be doling out some delicious fare, while a sunflower shop will be slinging some seriously cute sunflower-themed souvenirs.
