Head down to the Pottsville Sports Club on Sunday November 13 from 1:00 pm for The Big Potty Party, a fundraising day for Skyler, his family and the Brainchild foundation.

This family-friendly day will feature live music by Dylan Wright, barefoot bowls, auctions, raffles, face painting and kid’s games on the lawn. There will also be guest appearances from Shorty Brown the Clown and Buzz Lightyear. Raffle and auction prizes include vouchers to restaurants from Byron to Tweed, clothing, bikes, staycations, boat hires, crystals and picnic rugs.

When Skyler was three, he was diagnosed with brain and spinal cord cancer (medulloblastoma). He had brain surgery to remove the tumours and spent 12 months doing chemo and radiation to fight the cancer. Unfortunately, the treatment has left Skyler with an acquired brain injury, and the event is raising funds for the ongoing medical costs his family are facing. This is an excellent opportunity to raise money for a worthy cause, grab a bite to eat and let the kids roam free in a safe and enclosed area.
