Pop Collage and Poetry with Kimberly Stokes
Explore appropriation and recontextualisation of magazine imagery and text, as well as digital effects, to create collages and poetry. Led by local artist Kimberly Stokes, this workshop is inspired by the works of Pop artist Jean Michel Basquiat.

Kimberly Stokes is an emerging artist and designer living on Yugambeh Country/ Gold Coast, whose practice explores concepts of identity and digital culture. Her interest lies at the intersections between social networking, the digital photograph and self-identity; with a particular focus on self-portraiture.
