Jimmy Barnes headlines an all-Aussie line-up for the Surfers Paradise LIVE beachfront music festival
If you’ve got a dose of post-Commonwealth-Games-and-Festival-2018 blues (it’s a thing) then don’t fret – the 2018 version of Surfers Paradise LIVE is hot on our heels to keep the live-music vibes circulating. From May 3-6, the free music festival will grace Surfers Paradise with non-stop entertainment throughout the precinct over three days and four action-packed nights. Everybody’s going (including Jimmy Barnes and Daryl Braithwaite) and you should too.
Surfers Paradise LIVE, which runs in conjunction with the Gold Coast Music Awards, has secured a killer line-up alongside Jimmy and Daryl, with an enticing mix of some of Australia’s favourite contemporary artists, local talents and all-time greats. There’s Kate Ceberano, Reece Mastin, Justice Crew, Bobby Alu, Cheap Fakes, Hussy Hicks and Electrik Lemonade to name a few – you can peep the entire program here.
As the name suggests, Surfers Paradise LIVE is designed to capture the spirit of live music by offering a diverse line-up of music genres to suit all tastes. The free (yes, free!) festival will be staged across various locations throughout Surfers Paradise, kicking off on Thursday May 3, with round-the-clock events until Sunday May 6.
