Aerial acrobatics and dynamic dance set to amaze with Sequins and Sinew
The Bleach* Festival is bringing copious amounts of culture to the Gold Coast, and one of the more unique displays on offer is Sequins and Sinew, an impressive display of circus performance pushed to its limits.
The Kirra Foreshore will be playing host to a dazzling display of human strength and creativity when Sequins and Sinew performs on March 6, 7 and 8 for the Bleach* Festival. Combining physicality and theatrics, this performance is reportedly an electrifying show of death-defying acrobatics and aerial ingenuity.
Created and directed by Darcy Grant, a world-renowned, multi-disciplinary circus performer, Sequins and Sinew aims to examine human musculature, test the limits of human performance as well as examine femininity in an acrobatic context. Sequins and Sinew will perform multiple shows over the weekend, with live music performances by Ella Fence and Emma & the Hungry Truth also on the cards for Saturday and Sunday evenings. This is a free event, so bring along the family and enjoy a spectacle of superhuman feats of physicality.
