Catch Vance Joy at The Arts Centre Gold Coast

Vance Joy, aka James Keogh, has been a busy man since taking out the world’s largest music democracy with Riptide. He is bringing his ukulele and signature surf-pop to The Arts Centre Gold Coast tonight.

Following the release of his debut album Dream Your Life Away, Vance Joy will be serenading the audience tonight with laid-back indie folk tunes including Mess is Mine, Winds of Change, Georgia and of course, the track that brought him global acclaim, Riptide from his EP God Loves You When You’re Dancing.

With his football career firmly behind him, Vance Joy will finish this tour on March 28 in Newcastle before embarking on a tour of the United States of America and accompanying Taylor Swift on the road.

The Melbourne-based singer/songwriter took the name Vance Joy from a character in Peter Carney’s novel Bliss in order to separate his personal and professional life. Supported by #1 Dads and Airling, the doors open at 7:30 pm and tickets are $41.00.
