Ring in the holidays at the Christmas by the Sea
Christmas and carols go hand in hand, so Community by the Sea are combining the two with a live performance spectacular at the Palm Beach Parklands this weekend.
On Monday December 15, the Christmas by the Sea will be taking place under the stars in what is being touted as a fantastically fun, family-friendly, festive extravaganza and for only a gold coin donation. From 4:00 pm onwards, the Palm Beach Parklands will play host to a jam-packed itinerary of activities for kids and adults.
Christmas by the Sea will begin at 4:00 pm when Old Man Friday will perform a set of chilled tunes to help you settle into the evening. Kids can enjoy activities such as face painting and a petting the creatures at the barnyard animal enclosure.
From 5:30 pm, attendees can listen to performances from the Currumbin Primary School Choir, students from the Currumbin Academy of Performing Arts and the C3 Band. Kids should also keep an eye out for a special visit from Santa and his elves. To cap off a marvellous night, there will be a firework display. Bring along a picnic blanket, enjoy a sausage sizzle, fairy floss and snow cones while you enjoy Christmas by the Sea.
For wet weather updates, it is recommended that you check out the Dune Cafe Facebook page or the Community by the Sea website.
