Southport’s Chinatown will kicking off the Year of the Rabbit (the luckiest of all of the zodicas!) with a fun-filled street festival on Sunday January 22. Kicking off at 3:00 pm, the festival will take over Davenport and Young Streets with a stacked line-up of entertainment – expect lion and dragon dancers, market stalls and kids activities like Chinese calligraphy. There will also be a wishing tree, traditional fan and umbrella dancing and a fireworks finale!

There’s going to be a mouth-watering line-up of eats, including the return of the $5 food safari where you’ll get to devour all of the best $5 deals Southport eateries have to offer, from spring rolls and noodle soup to bubble tea and ice jelly (yum!).
