In the lead-up to the big night, Surfers Paradise is celebrating with the Surfers Paradise New Year’s Carnival. Come down from December 27 for carnival rides, kids’ slides and more all along the foreshore.

On New Year’s Eve, the community will once again be celebrating Superheroes of Paradise, so come dressed as your favourite character and have a photo with some superheroes.

Then bring in the New Year with a bang with one of Queensland’s largest fireworks displays on Surfers Paradise beach, Wednesday December 31. Get set for an incredible fireworks display at the family-friendly time of 8:00 pm, followed by the second show at midnight.
