Studio Gallery has opened on Wandoo Street in The Valley

Eagle-eyed Valley trotters may have noticed a new and very slick addition to the neighbourhood this week, with Studio Gallery opening a shiny new space on Wandoo Street. Its first Queensland location is brimming with beauties that must be seen to be believed. Here’s a sneak peek inside …

The James Street precinct is lined with delightful dining spots and killer culture-packed hubs, so it’s no surprise that Studio Gallery Group decided it was the perfect place to open its first Queensland location. Like the other Studio Gallery spaces in Melbourne and Sydney, the Brisbane location provides collectors the opportunity to view its artist stable in a world-class gallery environment. Now open on Wandoo Street, Studio Gallery offers an expansive art experience spanning two floors, with floor-to-ceiling white backdrops adorned with eye-catching art.

For those not so in-the-know, Studio Gallery Group has one of Australia’s largest commercially available collections of contemporary art. The gallery group has displayed works from the likes of Kerry Armstrong, Miranda Russell, Nathan Betts, Martin Claydon and Matt Butterworth, and regularly hosts dynamic solo and group exhibitions, engaging artist talks, installations and events. To celebrate the opening of the Fortitude Valley space, the Studio Gallery team is hosting a grand-opening party on Friday September 30. Those in the mood for a dose of arresting art and some champagne can RSVP their attendance via Eventbrite.

Studio Gallery is open seven days a week. Go forth and take a gander!
