The iconic chips brand has collaborated with Australian doughnut empire Donut King to create the new snack, which is now available nationwide. Apparently, the new Twisties flavour gives rich cinnamon spice notes with a deliciously sweet undertone – in other words, it tastes just like a hot cinny doughnut.

Now, Twisties and cinnamon doughnut might seem like a weird match, but sweet and savoury make for some iconic combos – popcorn and Maltesers, McDonald’s chips and soft serve and dare we say it, ham and pineapple on Hawaiian pizza. We’ve decided that we’re into it – and so have the hungry masses. Twisties Brand Manager Melanie Saluni says “The anticipation and excitement from Twisties fans to get their hands on Twisties Donut King Cinnamon Donut flavour has been next level. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a wave of fans taking to social media to express their excitement to try our new flavour – so we’re super excited for fans to finally be able to try!”
