Say hello to the Maxibon Waffle On, an ice-cream sandwich and waffle combo
If we had to choose between chocolate biscuits and waffles, we’d be hard pressed to land on a definite answer. To make thing even harder, Australian cult ice-cream sandwich brand, Maxibon, has just announced the launch of something truly sweet, and perhaps opinion-dividing – the Maxibon Waffle On. They say you’ve got to risk it for the biscuit, but in this case, you have to chuck the biscuit and replace it with sugar-dusted waffles.
You read that right folks, Peters Maxibon is getting a truly taste bud-tantalising makeover. The frozen dessert’s iconic biscuit end is set to be transformed, and in its place will be two golden, sugar-dusted waffles. In between the waffles will be Maxibon’s signature sweet vanilla slab, full of caramelised sugar pieces. But wait, there’s more. On the other end you’ll find caramel white chocolate packed with hazelnuts and cookie crumbs.
Move over Bubble O’Bills, Magnums and Cornettos – The Maxibon Waffle On will be available to snag from freezers across the country from Monday July 18. You can find them at your local grocery or convenience stores for $4.50 each or $9 for a four-pack, if a single serving just isn’t enough.
