Luke Nguyen’s Asian-fusion dining hall Fat Noodle at Treasury Brisbane is turning the big one-zero! With a decade of delicious eats behind the restaurant, it’s only appropriate that it celebrates the special occasion with a bang. This year, the birthday festivities will take the form of a mouth-watering birthday menu filled with flavourful fare, available from December 9–24. Fat Noodle at Treasury Brisbane’s special tenth birthday menu is a dream feast for anyone that has frequented the beloved restaurant over the past decade. Hungry folk can lap up a sizzling selection of signature dishes from the past ten years or take their tastebuds on a culinary journey and savour some exciting new concoctions created by celebrity chef Luke Nguyen and sous chef Sarah Ghim. This celebration-worthy achievement is a momentous one for Luke Nguyen, who credits the restaurant’s hard-working staff for the success. “I couldn’t be more proud of our Fat Noodle team, past and present, for reaching an incredible milestone,” says Luke. “A decade of delicious food, friendly service and lots of fun. Happy tenth anniversary Fat Noodle Brisbane!”

A range of tempting eats will fill the menu starting with small plates like grilled pork skewers, coconut prawn salad, Peking duck wraps, salmon sashimi, pork and prawn rice-paper rolls, coral trout tacos, chargrilled scallop with burnt butter fish sauce and green mango and the famous Luke’s Chicken Salad (chicken, pickle, cabbage, fresh mixed herbs and chilli). Mains range from caramelised pork belly with steamed rice and seafood laska to beef pho and duck and prawn stir-fried noodles, plus much more. Dessert lovers can save their second stomach for the likes of banana fritters with cinnamon ice-cream, pandan brulee, Thai-style doughnuts and a particularly pretty Vietnamese-style mille-feuille.
