The Street Photographer: Alfredo’s Pizzeria

Never one to shy away from flavour, Alfredo’s Pizzeria has launched a new menu for summer, along with a Vespa delivery service. Warm-weather Italian favourites like grilled peaches wrapped in prosciutto come nestled in a salad, while arancini come stuffed with succulent mushrooms and a stringy centre of mozzarella. We hear the new American Idiot pizza of braised beef short rib, gorgonzola, pancetta and barbecue sauce is well-worth the napkin-heavy mess it leaves you in. The new menu is split into sections, inviting diners to build their own meals by selecting their protein of choice, an accompanying side and a finishing sauce. A focus on local, organic produce sees classic combinations like 180-day grain-fed Angus eye fillet adorned with red wine jus and a green bean with freekeh… more
