With a revamped interior and new amenities, the Toowong Village has been given a new lease on life and is celebrating with a festival for the whole family.

Over the past year, Toowong Village has been undergoing a $50-million transformation of its interior, refurbishing its dining areas and major retailers, giving the centre a modern update that is sure to draw in shoppers in droves. A new alfresco dining precinct has been added called High Street Eat which boasts a number of new eateries including Grill’d, Guzman Y Gomez, Tibetan Kitchen, San Churro and Gerbino’s. David Jones, Coles and Kmart were also refurbished with new interior design and the mall layout has been simplified for easier navigation.

Over three days there will be copious amounts of children’s entertainment, complimentary treats, tasting bars and gifts awarded with select purchases. The Kids’ Zone will entertain the little ones with a free cartoon photobooth, face painting, story telling and canvas painting workshops at 10:00 am, 11:00 am and midday. Head along and check out the swish new interior of one of Brisbane’s longest running shopping centres.
