Thursday nights just got a whole lot louder at Bird Gallery and Studio. The laneway arts space has extended its existing support for local emerging artists by putting a call out to budding musicians. From 5:00–7:00 pm each Thursday, the venue will introduce two local artists to Brisbane crowds. As traffic battles its way out of the city, Bird offers those nearby a place to wait it out with a beverage and some soothing music at the new live music locale. The free gigs will also see the venue’s partnering cafe Bean. serving up espressos, with audience members invited to bring their own drinks along.
