TWE Hands on Brisbane

Get crafty with Hands on Brisbane at Bleeding Heart Gallery

If your fingers are feeling a little numb from the drone of typing and scrolling on your digital devices throughout the week, put those digits to a more creative use from this Saturday when craft workshop program Hands on Brisbane returns for another inspiring season.

In its third year, the program will launch this Saturday February 15 with a terrarium workshop by Simmone Spring and a class on how to carve rubber stamps with Kay Watanabe. Held at Bleeding Heart Gallery in Brisbane City, the workshops are guided by local artisans who enjoy divulging their tricks of the trade and spreading the crafty love.

Learn how to make Japanese origami or Romanian point lace, try your hand at mono-printing or jewellery making, or perhaps try tying your own rag rug to spruce up your living room. Covering an assortment of craft and design workshops, Hands on Brisbane will run each Saturday through to May 3. Check out the full line-up of classes and book your spot here.
