With 2022 imminent, it’s time to lock in your New Year’s Eve plans. If you’re seeking a flavoursome feast to fill your belly, free-flowing champagne to wet your whistle with and live entertainment, we know just the place to perch this December 31 – Brisbane Quarter! So gather your mates and prepare for an evening filled with delicious food, great vibes and incomparable views of the fireworks. Oh, but first, read on to choose your New Year’s adventure …

Whether you want to go fancy and see out the old year in style with a multi-course banquet or dig in to a sumptuous seafood spread, Brisbane Quarter has you sorted for your New Year’s Eve celebrations. Make it a family affair at Italian restaurant Persone, where you can sip and snack with three delicious packages. The first of the night is a salivation-inducing nine-course banquet, followed by an ultra-luxe 13-course banquet that includes a glass of Moet & Chandon NV Brut on arrival. For those who want to amp up the festivities, Persone is also hosting a stand-up cocktail party with live entertainment, a five-hour beverage package including spirits, premium canapes, substantial dishes, decadent desserts and one of the best vantage points for watching the fireworks. A banquet brimming with all of your Japanese favourites like sashimi, tempura, grilled salmon, chilli snow crab, nigiri and green tea ice-cream awaits at Tenya, or head to Phoenix for a la carte delights like salt-and-chilli quail legs, pineapple fried rice, peking duck pancakes and live seafood. More Asian-inspired delights abound at Phat Boy, where a Kung Tung shared spread full of seafood favourites will adorn your table for the ultimate final feast for the year.

Inside W Brisbane the festivities continue and it’s at the Wet Deck where you can soak up free-flowing Veuve Clicquot magnums and DJ tunes at the Bright All Night New Year’s Eve party. The soiree also includes premium spirits, beer, wine and cocktails like the Kick On ‘Till Sunrise (a mix of Belvedere Vodka, Tropical Redbull, turmeric, honey water and prosecco) and a top-notch tapas menu that includes the likes of vermouth scallops with truffle, aged cheddar and bearnaise sauce gratin, Fraser Island crab profiteroles, and smoked sour cream blinis with salmon and shaved truffle. For a more substantial feed, hit up Three Blue Ducks, where a mouth-watering menu of eats awaits – think Moreton Bay bugs, blue swimmer crab, barbecued Queensland prawns, spiced chocolate mousse and coconut sorbet. There’s even a vegan option for our plant-based pals!
