But Sydney’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (MBFW) isn’t just an excuse to take a self-indulgent selfie and enjoy a spot of people watching, it’s the place we look to gain insight into the sweetest new creations from our most inspiring established and emerging designers.

The 940 km separating us from the Sydney runways is no impediment this year, thanks to all the happenings being streamed live, including the accompanying soundtracks. The New Generation show is online right now, from 10:00 am on Thursday April 10, while Brisbane’s Hayley Elsaesser will be showcasing her spring/summer 2014 collection Redneck Nostalgia from 11:00 am today.
