Wooden Horse Restaurant & Bar
Wooden Horse Restaurant & Bar is the first venture from brothers Dane and Morgan Hoey, who bring their combined experience as chefs to head up the kitchen. The modern-Australian menu has a distinct Mediterranean influence with everything made in-house, right down to the bread, pasta and sauces, and the brothers have a strong focus on quality local produce. On the menu you will find a curated selection of entrees, share plates, mains and decadent desserts, as well as a strong list of brick-oven pizzas, which are also available for takeaway. Dishes include the likes of slow-roasted pork belly with honey carrot puree, caramelised onion, poached pear and orange thyme sauce, or house-made angel hair pasta and pumpkin and fetta ravioli. At the bar, you can select from a list of Australian craft beer and wine, or take your pick from one of the creative cocktails, all named after The Beatles’ songs.
