Osbourne Hotel

Though most of our generation would be unfamiliar with the name, the Osbourne Hotel boasts a storied history dating back to 1864. The venue on the corner of Ann and Constance Streets has been a venue of some sorts for decades, wearing monikers including The Dead Rat, The Rat & Parrot and as Fringe Bar and Kerbside. In the final months of 2017 the venue was refurbished and rebranded as the Osbourne Hotel, a destination that incorporates beer garden and lounge bar as well as a bistro element catering to sippers and snackers. The menu includes top-notch fare including char-grilled steaks, oysters, peking duck spring rolls, sweet potato and cashew empanadas, cheese kranskies, and pizzas served until late. The bar serves craft, local and international beers, boutique wines and cocktails, with something to cater for every taste. Punters can catch games on the big screen, and groups can also book spaces in the upstairs meeting room and private dining area.
