nodo – one of Brisbane’s most beloved cafe brands – expanded to South Bank at the tail-end of 2019. Situated underneath the ABC Building on Russell Street (a stone’s throw from The Wheel of Brisbane), the South Bank is best described as a hybrid of nodo’s express Brisbane City store and its Camp Hill location, the latter of which boasts a large alfresco dining area. Smaller than both Newstead and Camp Hill locations, the South Bank cafe only seats 50 (a nearby grassy space is also available for guests to sprawl and picnic), and featured a grab-and-go fridge stocked with goodies, a donut cabinet chock-full of nodo’s signature baked treats, and a made-to-order cafe menu similar to that of Camp Hill.
