If you’re anything like us, you may have spent a few weekends scouting around Brisbane for your fix of delicious nodo doughnuts. While you can find these gluten-free babies at several spots in Brisbane, there is now a permanent location for you to satisfy your doughnut desires. nodo opened Australia’s first gluten-free doughnut bakery on the corner of Ella and Chester Streets in Newstead in 2015, immediately setting tongues wagging across town. In addition to its famous gluten-free doughnuts, nodo has been cranking out a fantastic brunch service that has cemented it as a favourite of Brisbane’s discerning diners. After some renovations and upgrades to the kitchen and bakery space in August 2018, nodo relaunched its menu – adding the likes of crab rolls, kimchi waffles and brisket cheeseburgers – while introducing table service and a range of gluten-free breads and sourdough loaves made in house.
