Malt Traders Heritage Lanes
The brains behind Malt Dining, Malt Pier, Drum and Vaquero expand its hospitality portfolio in 2022 with a brand-new Malt Traders location at blossoming precinct Heritage Lanes. The purveyor of craft beer, fine wine and boutique whisky, which also boasts locations on Market Street and over the river in South Bank, doubled its presence in The City with the new Ann Street location. Much like its sibling sites, Malt Traders Heritage Lanes doubles as both a bottle shop and bar. Inner-city denizens are free to pop in to pick up a bottle of something nice for home consumption, or drink their selection on site. This location differs, however, thanks to the addition of a small beer-garden space at the end of the laneway, giving the venue a total seating capacity of 50. Though the new location offers the same eclectic mix of quality booze as Market Street and South Bank (with a sharp focus on smaller brewers, distillers and wine makers), the team is expected to tailor the selection based on local market demand. Those drinking on site are free to BYO food from other Heritage Lanes vendors.
