Like most home-grown start-ups, Lost Bean started with humble beginnings. After carving up the road and dispensing great coffee from the back of a custom built 1964 Volkswagon Kombi, Lost Bean planted roots in South Bank, opening up a standalone cafe in May 2018. Conveniently positioned near South Bank’s riverside hub in the space formerly occupied My Sweetopia, Lost Bean dispenses delectable Blackstar coffee, hot chocolate, and chai to those seeking a hot beverage. Those seeking a snack or a sit-down meal are also catered for, with Lost Bean’s kitchen serving up dishes for breakfast and lunch, with a cabinet filled with grab-and-go snacks – perfect for dining on the move. Lost Bean also serves snacks snacks well into the evening, with sweet treats being a specialty.
