Kuan Yin Tea House is a restaurant that sits alongside a row of Asian eateries, opposite the proud lion statues of Chinatown. The dining den’s menu is based on traditional Taiwanese dishes and is largely vegetarian and vegan, much to the delight of Brisbane’s growing anti-meat community. Alongside a selection of hot and cold drinks (including bubble teas), you’ll find a menu bustling with faux meat dishes and vegetarian options, amongst which the sweet potato fries are particularly popular.
