Dovetails

The Limestone Precinct in the heart of Ipswich has grown into a veritable foodie hotspot, and the arrival of Dovetails in May 2017 has cemented the area as the place to dine. Sharing a building with Pumpyard Bar and Brewery, Dovetails serves chic mixture of French and Australian cuisine, with a fine dining bent for its dinner service. A day at Dovetails starts with breakfast, which offers up the likes of avocado and feta bruschetta, slow-roasted mushrooms on sourdough, house baked beans and corn fritters, before the lunch service starts plating up wagyu beef cheeks, red IPA beer-battered barrmundi, duck confit and scallops. Once the sun sets, dinner is served – sample charcuterie boards, lamb loin nicoise roulade, crispy-skin salmon, Diamantina beef tenderloins and more. Upstairs is the Lord Lamington Room, which offers a range of options for private functions.
