We make no bones about our love for cheese, cheesemakers, cheese suppliers and, heck, even cheese accessories. When Church Mouse Cheese burst onto the scene in 2020 with its offering of monthly taste boxes filled with artisanal cheeses, bespoke cheese-tower catering services, and calendar of degustation dining experiences and wine-and-cheese-flight events, we immediately fell in love. Now, after a couple of years of nomadic operation, the crew has opened a bricks-and-mortar cheese and graze platter catering shop in South Bank, located in a hole-in-the-wall space (formerly an ATM bunker) next to Ahmet’s and Brooklyn Depot. You can grab gourmet toasties, cheese and charcuterie platters, cheese cakes and gourmet cheeses, as well as picnic supplies to take to the nearby parkland or for entertaining at home. Liaising with eight different distributors and cheesemakers, Church Mouse’s selection includes a wide array of domestic and imported cheeses.
