La Luna Beach Club

La Luna Beach Club is a multi-venue space that is unlike anything the Gold Coast has ever seen before. Brought to life by the Gennari Group (Glass Dining & Lounge Bar, Koi, The Loose Moose, Roosevelt Lounge and Maggie Choo), the incredible venue encompasses La Luna Dining alongside what is being touted as Australia’s first luxury beach club and restaurant built on floating pontoons – yes, you read right, floating pontoons. As you descend down the ramp, guests are greeted by two glistening pools that are separated by a runway down the middle. To the left, you’ll spy MĀRE, a chic 90-seater floating restaurant, and to the left, rows of six cushioned cabanas and eight king daybeds shaded by umbrellas. MĀRE offers a curated offering of modern Italian and Mediterranean bites that showcase clean, light flavours – think oysters and ceviche, because no one wants to take a dip after devouring a heavy bowl of pasta. The careful consideration has also extended through to the selection of tipples. La Luna delivers a clutch of classic cocktails refined by the venue’s bar manager and mixologist Nick, sips such as Hemmingway daiquiris and mango margaritas. For those with a little extra cash to splash, there are some high-end inclusions such as the Millionaire Margarita, which features Herradura Seleccion Suprema tequila topped with Veuve, and a Fortune 500 Old Fashioned, which features a double shot of $2900-a-bottle Woodford Reserve Baccarat.  Those who are keen to soak in the sunshine from the lounges needn’t miss out on the food and beverage offering, each lounge will be equipped with a QR code, which is linked to the pre-paid bookings online. The lounges and cabanas are based on minimum spend, which starts at $150 for two hours depending on what style of seating arrangement you have. The amount can then be redeemed on food and drinks.
