Le Petit Chef

Le Petit Chef, a cosy 30-seater on Sunshine Boulevard, embraces the French philosophy of savouring each bite and enjoying good company, usually with a glass of wine. Led by New Caledonian natives Aimy-Lee and Arthur Duvillier, the restaurant offers a unique semi-fine dining experience that blends French culinary traditions with Australian conviviality. Arthur, with a 14-year cheffing career, curates a menu that modernises classic recipes. Diners can start with a seasonal amuse-bouche before moving on to appetisers like three-texture onion soup and escargots with persillade butter. Main dishes include beef rossini, French coquillette pasta, veal stew, and beef bourguignon. Prix fixe menus are available, with a three-course option for $79 and a four-course dinner for $85. Book here, or early diners can also find Le Petit Chef on First Table.
