Roy’s by Gemelli

Gemelli Sorrento is the newest feather in the hat of the Carney brothers, who own Gemelli Italian in Broadbeach, Gemellini in Nobby Beach and Papa Rolly’s food truck (well, it’s a bus). The menu here is a condensed version of what you’d kind at the Broadbeach and Nobby Beach – all the favourites have been selected to feature at the new Sorrento location. There are more traditional elements infused into the food offering to tie in the old-school vibe, like the pollo funghi (aka chicken in deliciously creamy mushroom sauce) and the traditional rigatoni amatriciana. A Morello Forni oven, imported direct from Naples, works over time to create the woodfired pizzas that the Gemelli and Gemellini names have become famous for.
