Baked at Ancora

Baked at Ancora is a Parisian-style bakehouse in the heart of Tweed Heads. With former Bam Bam and Paddock pastry chef Gavin Rudd in the kitchen, Baked is a haven for sweet and savoury pastries and fresh-baked bread. You’ll find specialty coffee from local roaster Ground Control, as well as a mouth-watering breakfast and lunch menu with everything from okonomiyaki omelettes to pork-belly burgers. Baked is certainly buoyed by its waterfront and park-fronting locale – its bustling inside area seats around 40 pastry fiends, with its neighbouring green space doubling as a picnic spot for patrons. Picnic rugs are on offer (or you can BYO set-up) and perch yourself on the water’s edge for the ultimate riverfront picnic.
