Croissants and coffee creekside – Neptune Kiosk unveils a fresh new look

Tallebudgera Creek is the idyllic piece of paradise that requires no introduction. The eternally bustling strip has been in the throes of some construction activity of late, with the City of Gold Coast undertaking a $3.4-million upgrade to the existing boardwalk. To coincide with the works, Neptune Kiosk, tucked beneath Neptune Royal Life Saving Club, has unveiled a striking new nautical-inspired look that has expanded the format from a hole-in-the-wall into a larger, dual-window situation overlooking the newly renovated creekside parklands.

Long, salty, sun-kissed days at Tallebudgera Creek just got a little bit sweeter following the re-opening of Neptune Kiosk in late December. Featuring cute yellow and white awnings and arched timber doors, the caffeination station is essentially a convenient satellite location for creek dwellers who are in need of a coffee and something sweet. Saving you from the sandy-footed dash across the hot carpark to Custard Canteen, Neptune Kiosk slings Marvell Street coffee, alongside freshly baked almond croissants, drool-inducing cookies and tasty treats that are baked fresh daily. Rounding out Neptune’s menu is a selection of Flyin’ Fox ice blocks, fresh-fruit smoothies and milkshakes. Hot tip, the Nutella milkshake is exclusive to Neptune and is like dessert in liquid form.

As always, the venue’s owner Ursula Watts still has a few tricks up her sleeve, with plans to introduce hot cinnamon doughnuts and toasted croissants in the near future, so watch this space. The Tallebudgera boardwalk upgrade, which is currently underway, is anticipated to continue until August 2024.
