Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill unveils $1-million revamp

To reach a decade in the fickle restaurant industry means you must be doing something right but rather than resting on their laurels, the owners of Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill celebrated the milestone by gutting the restaurant and completely rebuilding the space from the floor up.

The cowhide has been replaced by a palette of dark charcoal and black with natural stone, feature tiles and slate as part of Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill’s $1-million makeover. A spectacular new zinc-topped bar takes pride of place while dramatic pendant lighting and Big Ass Ceiling Fans (yes, that’s actually what they are called) paired with contemporary yet sleek furnishings breathe new life into the space and a new floor-to-ceiling dry ageing cabinet gives you a glimpse of the goods.

In addition to the stylish new digs, owners Steven and Autumn Adams along with venue partner JP Duitsch have unveiled a brand new menu that has been designed with a paddock-to-plate philosophy in mind. Intended to showcase local produce, the new menu features some exciting new entrees including chilli-glazed calamari and a beef dish that is actually cooked at your table on a hot rock alongside some of the venue’s tried and tested favourites such as the Mac and Cheese and wagyu fat-fried potatoes. The new menu has also added some premium yet affordable cuts of steak including a 200-gram David Blackmore wagyu minute steak for $29.
