If you love food (hello, friend) and happen to reside on the northern end of the Gold Coast, get excited because plans for a brand new multi-million-dollar dining destination have been unveiled at Harbour Town Shopping Centre. Construction on the new precinct will commence in coming weeks and is expected to be completed in time for Christmas shoppers to enjoy.

The new northern foodie hang is set to feature a mix of 25 new eateries that will range from casual hawker-style street food to more upmarket restaurant options including a modern Australian and a Greek offering. The exact details of tenants are being kept tightly under wraps for now however it is anticipated there will be options to suit a wide variety of tastes and budgets.

Design concepts for Harbour Town’s new dining destination reveal a predominantly open-air environment accented with festoon lighting, recycled brickwork, raw materials and lush landscaping giving the area a relaxed coastal vibe. The ambitious $25 million project, which also includes a facelift for Reading Cinemas, will be the biggest addition to Harbour Town Shopping Centre since the North-West Mall was unveiled in May of 2016.
