Learn the art of pizza making at Double Zero in Broadbeach

A traditional Italian pizza is a glorious thing. A feather-light base slathered with a beautifully rich tomato sauce and topped with a restrained scattering of toppings and cooked in a smouldering wood-fired oven. If your mouth is watering, book yourself in to the next Neapolitan Pizza Masterclass at Double Zero Broadbeach and learn the delicious art for yourself.

You know the saying, give a man a fish and he eats for a day but if you teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime? Well Double Zero in Broadbeach has taken that to heart and have launched a masterclass to teach fellow pizza lovers the art to the perfect Italian pizza. Once a month, the tables are pushed to the side and the dining area of the popular eatery is transformed into a classroom under the watchful eye of the establishment’s own pizza master Nicola Masci. The Italian pizza chef will guide you through the process of rolling, shaping, topping and baking in the three-hour session. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy the fruits of their labour over a glass of Italian wine.

Double Zero’s pizza was recently awarded Queensland’s first Verace Pizza Napoletana (VPN) accreditation for their Neapolitan pizza, one of just 14 restaurants Australia-wide to receive the certification, so you know you’re in great hands. Double Zero’s pizza classes are $69 per person and places are limited so if you’re keen to learn the art of pizza making, get in touch with Matthew today.
