The Amity Affliction at The Coolangatta Hotel
Masters of metalcore, The Amity Affliction has announced a second show at The Coolangatta Hotel on Sunday January 18 following the hasty sell-out of their first show.
Touring the band’s fourth album Let The Ocean Take Me, The Amity Affliction will be throwing down their signature split of heavy verses juxtaposed with soaring melodic choruses that fans have come to know and love from the five-piece, in a second show at The Coolangatta Hotel. The album is described as the biggest, richest and most sonically varied the band has delivered and tackles some heavy themes inspired by co-vocalist Joel Birch’s near-death experience on last year’s Vans Warped Tour.
The shows are part of the Weigh Downunder Tour that takes the Gympie boys on the road to regional and suburban centres around Australia throughout January including Tasmania, North Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia and the East Coast. Joining them on the tour will be In Hearts Wake, Confession and Antagonist AD.
If you’re a fan of The Amity Affliction you’d best secure your tickets post haste because they are likely to sell out and there is little likelihood of a third bite at this cherry.
