Bridging the gap between Tapas Club on Wednesday and Friday’s festivities, Studio 56 has your Thursday evenings sorted with live music and streetfood. Starting this Thursday October 15, the dedicated music space has been designed to capture a little bit of the nostalgia of the Gold Coast’s musical heyday feel of Bombay Rock and the Playroom with an amazing mix of local, national and international acts every week. The space will host live local music every Thursday with the odd Sunday thrown in for good measure.

Studio 56 gets underway with a stellar set from local lass Aquila Young, who is simultaneously fearless and fearsome. She will be supported by an all Gold Coast line-up of Creature Kind and The Ruiins. This Sunday, Studio 56 presents Ash Grunwald fresh off his massive tour of Canada and the following Thursday (October 22) Studio 56 brings you The Waifs supported by Mia Dyson.
