Easter is just around the corner, and that means the school holidays have arrived! To celebrate the annual chocolate-filled occasion, shopping, lifestyle and dining precinct Paradise Centre will be serving up all things sweet these school holidays with Sweet as Easter from April 1–16. You can expect to snag some truly great freebies, breakdance with bunnies and dance to some dynamite DJ sets. Here’s all the need-to-know deets …
There’s plenty of entertainment to keep the kids (and kids at heart) delighted these Easter school holidays at Paradise Centre. In the heart of Surfers Paradise probably isn’t where you’d expect to find a bunch of bunnies, but that’s exactly what you will discover throughout the school holidays at the beachside precinct. The best part? These bunnies are on roller skates, and you can catch them scooting through the centre from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm daily handing out free Easter bunny biscuits – yum! While you’re there immerse yourself in some truly great tunes from DJs who will be on the decks from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on April 1–2 and 8–9. There’s also a bonus set on Good Friday, so you can kick off the long weekend with some banger beats. Those looking to show off some moves can bust it with the breakdancing bunnies, who will be bouncing their way around the precinct from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm from April 3–5. Little ones can get have a go at being a bunny themselves, with free face painting in the beachfront dining precinct from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm from April 6–9. If this isn’t enough action, roving acrobat duos will be showing off their athletic prowess as they weave their way through the crowds from April 11–15.
Don’t think we have forgotten to tell you about the freebies! From April 8–16, spend $50 or more in a single transaction in centre (at participating retailers), and bring your receipt to centre court to spin Paradise Centre’s giant wheel to win prizes like gift cards, bluetooth speakers, beach towels, bucket hats, branded drink coolers and more. Eager to try your luck? You can find the spin wheel in centre court from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm daily outside Celebrity Ink. Plus, don’t miss the chance to get your photo taken with Paradise Centre’s very-cute mascots, Beau the Budgie and Chip the Seagull, who will be roaming the centre from April 10–16.
