Miss Saigon makes its way to The Arts Centre Gold Coast

Miss Saigon is a ground-breaking production from the creators of Les Misérables that has toured the world, amazing audiences in no less than fifteen languages.

Twenty-five years ago, Miss Saigon debuted at London’s Theatre Royal to a rapturous reception. In the time since, the production has been staged in 300 cities across numerous continents, claiming numerous accolades and awards along the way. The musical is an epic love story that revolves around Kim, a bar girl who was orphaned by war and Chris, an American soldier stationed in Vietnam. The ‘pop opera’ follows the romantic story of both individuals, set against the backdrop of the fall of Saigon.

From June 12–20, Miss Saigon will be staged at The Arts Centre Gold Coast for what will be a dazzling musical production. This run of performances will be directed by Brad Rush and will star Vivien Emsworth and Chris White as the two lead roles. Musical accompaniment will be provided by some of the coast’s best musicians, under the supervision of musical director, David Piper. Tickets are available now via The Arts Centre Gold Coast’s website.
