Rare pieces from Coco Chanel’s private collection will be showcased at these exclusive hinterland events

Step into the world (or wardrobe, quite literally) of the one and only Coco Chanel this November at Kwila Lodge. For the first and last time in Australia, rare pieces from the famed fashion designer’s collection will be showcased at two exclusive events featuring garments and jewellery from Coco’s personal closet.

Cable International Fine Art and Kwila Lodge have partnered up to bring luxury fashion enthusiasts an up-close-and-personal peek into the life of Coco Chanel. You will have the opportunity to witness rare pieces from Coco’s private collection modelled for the first and last ever time by the Hembrow sisters, while indulging in fine French fare prepared by award-winning chef Daniel Ridgeway.

Taking place in the sublime hinterland surrounds of Kwila Lodge, these unforgettable events will also include world-class artworks painted in the classic Chanel atelier, as well as a performances by multi-award-winning violinist Yena Choi and Queensland Ballet. This is an extremely rare opportunity to see this impeccable museum-quality exhibition, the first chance for the public to see  this collection and the last,” says exhibition curator Karen Nash.
