Cult Brisbane bakery Brooki Bakehouse is popping up at QT Gold Coast

Brisbane’s TikTok-famous Brooki Bakehouse – the humble, cookie-slinging, macaron-making bakery that has become a viral social-media sensation – is popping up on the Gold Coast this June. The buzzing dessert haven is bringing its goodies south as part of a sweet month-long collaboration with QT Gold Coast, kicking off with an exclusive meet-and-greet event with the bakery’s powerhouse owner, Brooke Saward. Here’s how to get your mitts on Brooki cookies without heading up the M1 …

Throughout the month of June, Brooki Bakehouse will be taking over the sweets section of QT Gold Coast’s high-tea experience, QTea. Locals and visitors who book in for the Brooki QTea (available daily from Sunday June 2) can indulge in a selection of Brooki’s wildly popular cookies and melt-in-your-mouth macarons, which will be served alongside a tasty arrangement of savouries by QT’s executive chef, Greg Benney.

To kick-start the sugar-coated, month-long collaboration, baking maven Brooke Saward is hosting an exclusive ticketed high-tea event at QT on Saturday June 1, where guests can be the first to experience the Brooki QTea while hearing from the cult cookie queen herself.

Attendees will nibble on the Brooki Bakehouse goodies while Brooke herself spills the, uh, tea on her future plans for Brooki, her business insights and how she turned her passion into a viral sensation. For the mega-fans, there are also a small number of VIP tickets up for grabs, which include a meet and greet with Brooke prior to the event, a glass of champagne on arrival, a take-home box of Brooki Bakehouse cookies and front-row seats to the event.

For bookings and details, head to the QT Gold Coast website.
