For the first time in four years, Jetstar has launched a Japan edition of its famous Return for Free Sale. If it’s been a while since you’ve indulged in Jetstar’s cheap-as-chips flights, it works a little something like this – for 72 hours, customers who book an outbound starter fare to Tokyo (Narita) or Osaka (Kansai) can get the return starter fare free within selected travel dates. The offer is available on direct flights from the Gold Coast, and on connecting flights from Brisbane. Wondering when you need to sweeten up your boss so you can pencil in your annual leave? Travel dates vary per route but include late April to late June and early October to mid-December 2023.

Club Jetstar members have 12 hours of exclusive early access to the sale starting at midday today, Tuesday February 28, with public access kicking off at midnight tonight. Eager travellers can sign up to become a Club Jetstar member at the Jetstar website when making a booking. Be quick and set your alarms for midnight – this dynamite deal only lasts for 72 hours, ending at 11:59 pm AEDT on Friday March 3, unless sold out prior.
