Professional surfer turned music producer, Paul Fisher is now making waves in the world of property development. His latest venture involves a striking nine-storey tower, which has been approved for a prime beachside parcel in Palm Beach on the Gold Coast. Here’s what we know so far …

Having conquered the world of music, international surfing and seltzers, new doting dad Paul Fisher is set to take on the property world with a nine-storey residential development. According to property records, the prime 796-sqm site located at 228–230 Jefferson Lane was acquired in two transactions, including a 413-sqm lot purchased in February 2020 for $2.1 million and an adjoining parcel secured for $3.1 million in April the following year.

Designed by BDA Architects, the recently approved project will be developed under the banner of YLB Property Developments – allegedly a nod to Fisher’s smash hit ‘You Little Beauty’ released in 2019. According to development plans submitted to Gold Coast City Council, the project will include six spacious residences each containing three bedrooms and two-bathrooms, alongside a sprawling 500-sqm two-level penthouse that contains four-bedrooms, three bathrooms and a private rooftop entertaining terrace with pool, spa, gym and studio.

Rising from a strong red-brick podium, the development will feature a ground-floor recreation zone complete with a resort-style pool, large outdoor barbecue area, gym, sauna and ice baths. There will also be basement parking.
