Born in Sydney, Maison Balzac was established to bring the theatre of fashion to the home through a bespoke array of glassware, linen and decor. After more than a decade of donning Australia and abroad’s most stylish homes, the brand has finally delved into dinnerware with its latest drop of porcelain plates.
The new collection is a homage to summer garden parties, celebrating balmy evenings spent in nature. The new dinnerware comes in three designs – elegant illustrations of hands in gold and black as well as a snail motif. Since dinner is best served with company, the dinner plates are sold in pairs. Maison Balzac has also invited new guests to your next event with the reveal of the linen placemats in the design of la mouche (the fly) and le papillon (the butterfly).
The dinner plates and mats have been paired with a new range of silverware, the Escargot Cutlery Set. Finished with a simple spiral of a shell, the cutlery has been inspired by the works of German sculptor Karl Blossfeldt.
Le Jardin Chapter III marks the brand’s third collection this year traversing the themes, shapes and emotions of the garden. Discover more here.
